Scary Movie 3 (2003)

I have to confess, I haven't seen Scary Movie 1 or 2. I can't even be bothered to bracket the years they were released like I normally so professionally do on these posts, and with good reason. Scary Movie 3 is absolute bilge. I was taken to the cinema to see it by a bumbling group of imbeciles/my best friends at high school on the basis that the trailer was hilarious. It wasn't, and the best bits of the film are in the trailer. I'm not even convinced the film is supposed to be funny, but even by looking at it from every angle, there's nothing else to subtract from the hideousness coming off the screen other than someone was possibly trying to make something funny. Scary Movie 3 is rotten to the core and beyond, I can't believe they raised money for further installments. But then again, if you'd told me a year ago 2020 was going to be this godawful I probably wouldn't have believed it either. 1.8/10
