Ready Or Not (2019)

Ridiculous, if passingly entertaining, Ready Or Not follows Grace, who marries the man of her dreams, at his families luxurious estate. The catch is, that for the duration of her wedding night, she must evade her new relatives as they try to hunt her down and dispose of her, for reasons that become clear, but are fairly flimsy to hang a feature film on. The film does at least know what it is, a glossed up b-movie, and passes the time with entertaining performances from Adam Brody and Andie MacDowall, but there's no point during the film where you really care what's going on. Despite knowing its own limitations, it's not amusing enough to be blackly comedic, and not scary enough to be a full on horror, it ends up being disposable fluff at the end of the day, if harmless. 5.2/10
