Coyote vs. Acme feels like a breath of fresh air: a well-written, thoroughly enjoyable throwback to the Looney Tunes of old.

Tony works best as a coming-of-age hangout movie, even if the Anthony Bourdain story lurking underneath it deserves something considerably deeper.

There’s not a huge amount to see here, but this is still a well put together, surprisingly well-acted, and perfectly serviceable sharksploitation flick.

Like my daughter’s interest in Paw Patrol overall, the fun can only last so long.
